The countdown is on and I think the clock is getting faster! We have so much to do to get our plans and loose ends here finalized. We leave Charlotte NC for Paris (via Frankfurt) on June 11th where we'll spend 3 nights before flying to Milan Italy. Once in Milan, we will be met at the airport and driven to Verbania, Italy to pick up our RV. Our trip is 31 days total 26 of which will be spent in the Challenger 309. It is equiped with kitchen utensils, bedding, outside table and chairs, bathroom with shower, awning, GPS, CD player, AC and many other neccesities. The scooter is a Piaggio Liberty 125 c.c. and is stored in the rear compartment. Yes Mom, we have helmets. We plan on riding the scooter into the cities/towns while we are camped.
As far as itinerary goes, stayed tuned. We have a draft and tickets to events on certain dates, but this is a "never late--never lost" trip and we can't wait to see where it leads us. We look forward to sharing our experience with you.
